The Whiskey Sour

Some people overthink the Whiskey Sour. They add egg whites, fancy foams, and whatever other nonsense they think makes them look sophisticated. We kept it simple because simple works, and our 'Just Whiskey' Bourbon doesn't need a supporting cast to shine.

What You Need:

  • 2 oz. of our 'Just Whiskey' Bourbon (the star of this show)

  • 2 oz. Simple Syrup

  • 2 oz. Lemon Juice

What You Do:

  1. Dump the bourbon, simple syrup, and lime juice into a shaker. No ceremony required - just get them all in there.

  2. Add ice and shake it like you mean it. No need to be gentle, citrus in a cocktail needs proper agitation to come together.

  3. Strain into a rocks glass and call it done.

That's it. No garnish. No fancy glassware. No Instagram-worthy presentation. Just three ingredients doing exactly what they're supposed to do: balance sweet, sour, and the bourbon that ties it all together. Sometimes the best cocktails are the ones that don't try to impress you with complexity - they just deliver what they promise.
