Breakfast of Degenerates

Drinking before noon? No problem.

Our Breakfast of Degenerates Maple Whiskey isn’t here to judge you. Whether it’s a late brunch at Breakfast Club in Lafayette, a pre-game on the Irish Green, or—heaven forbid—a perfectly acceptable drink in the evening, this is the bottle that understands the assignment.

Smooth. Sweet.  Just a little bit irresponsible in the best possible way. Around here, we like to call it the Breakfast of Degenerates.

We Tapped Into Something Special

Maple whiskey sounds simple. But most bottles out there taste like someone dumped syrup flavor into whiskey and hoped for the best. That’s not how we do things.

Our Breakfast of Degenerates (70 Proof, 35% ABV) starts with real Indiana whiskey, crafted right here at Indiana Whiskey Company. From there, we pair it with genuine maple flavor and the result is exactly what maple whiskey should be: rich, smooth, and unmistakably maple without losing the backbone of real whiskey. It's perfectly sweet enough for breakfast but still strong enough to remind you it’s still whiskey.

Sweet, But Still Whiskey

We are well aware that maple can go wrong quickly. It can be too sweet making it taste like dessert or too subtle making you wonder why it’s even there. Breakfast of Degenerates lands right in the sweet spot. You get the warmth and body of real whiskey first, followed by a smooth maple finish that rounds everything out without overpowering it. It’s balanced, drinkable, and surprisingly versatile. Some people hear “maple whiskey” and assume it’s sugary. We prefer perfectly balanced.

How We Like to Drink It

The truth is, this bottle doesn’t need much help. But if you’re looking for ideas, here are a few ways we see people enjoying it:

  • Neat or on the rocks

    • The maple comes through beautifully on its own.

  • In your morning coffee

    • We didn’t name it Breakfast of Degenerates for nothing.

  • Maple & Ginger

    • Add ginger beer for a little spice and brightness.

  • With brunch

    • Pancakes optional. Bacon strongly encouraged.

  • Our Cocktail Options

A Maple Whiskey Worth Waking Up For

Maple season only comes around once a year, but this bottle doesn’t feel seasonal. It’s the kind of whiskey you keep reaching for, whether it’s brunch, a late-night drink, or something in between. So if you find yourself pouring a little before noon… don’t worry.

This whiskey won’t judge you.
