The Story of Gindiana (Yes, we finally made a Gin)

For fifteen years, Indiana Whiskey Company has done exactly what our name promises: sourcing Indiana-grown ingredients and handcrafting world-class whiskey right here at home. We’ve stayed true to that mission through every barrel, batch, and bottle. But we’ve also always believed one thing just as strongly: there should be something for everyone who walks through our doors.

Most of the time, that belief pays off quickly. We regularly convert self-proclaimed “non-whiskey drinkers” into whiskey drinkers by the end of a tour and tasting. Still, every now and then, someone sticks to their ground. They prefer a clear spirit. Maybe it’s about flavor. Maybe digestion. Maybe they just really love James Bond.

Why Gin and Why Now?

Technically, we already had a clear spirit: our Silver Sweet Corn Whiskey. But to many clear-spirit drinkers, it doesn’t matter what you call it, the word they hear is moonshine. And while unaged corn whiskey absolutely has its loyal fans, it’s a niche crowd.

Convincing people that great bourbon can be made right here in Indiana is hard enough. Convincing them that we also make a clear spirit worth sipping? That’s a taller order.

Gin, though, is something that’s familiar, recognizable, versatile, and when done right, endlessly drinkable.

So we took the same Indiana-grown ingredients that form the backbone of our whiskey, crafted a triple-filtered base spirit using our established recipe, and partnered with the Liberuth Company to develop a proprietary botanical blend that unmistakably felt us.

Inside the Botanical Blend

This gin is built with intention and restraint. Nothing loud. Nothing overpowering. Just balance.

Our proprietary flavoring is composed of:

• 60% Juniper – Just enough to know it’s a gin

• 15% Orange Peel – Bright, fresh citrus

• 15% Lavender – Soft floral notes without the soap

• 5% Coriander – Subtle spice and depth

• 5% Elderflower – A gentle, aromatic finish

  
  

The result is a contemporary American gin with excellent citrus and floral notes, anchored by juniper but never dominated by it.

How to Drink It

This gin was designed to fit seamlessly into whatever’s already on your bar—and maybe replace what’s there. We love it in:
