Silver Fox (The Batch Cocktail That Saves Christmas)

Listen, we all love the holidays. But between Uncle Jerry's political rants, Aunt Linda's questions about your life choices, and that one cousin who won't stop talking about their CrossFit journey, you need a drink that can keep up. Enter the Silver Fox—our answer to the Christmas cranberry whiskey sour that you can batch ahead of time so you're not stuck playing bartender while everyone else is having fun (or arguing, depending on your family).

What You Need:

  • 2 oz. Silver Sweet Corn Whiskey

  • 1 oz. Dry Vermouth (adding some sophistication to the chaos)

  • 1 oz. Simple Syrup

  • 2 oz. White Cranberry Juice (festive without looking like you tried too hard)

  • A large pitcher or container if you're smart enough to batch this

What You Do:

For a Single Serving:

  1. Add the Silver Sweet, dry vermouth, simple syrup, and white cranberry juice to a mixing glass. Everything goes in together because we're efficient like that.

  2. Strain and serve over a large ice ball in a rocks glass. The ice ball keeps it cold without watering it down too fast – important when family conversations run long.

For Batch Cocktail Glory: Multiply the ingredients by however many drinks you think you'll need (spoiler: it's more than you think), mix everything in a pitcher, keep it chilled, and pour over ice balls as needed throughout the night. You're welcome.

This isn't your grandmother's cranberry cocktail – though honestly, grandma would probably appreciate it more than the wine she brought. The Silver Sweet brings that clean, bold corn whiskey character, while the white cranberry keeps things festive without screaming "I LOVE CHRISTMAS" in red food coloring. It's sophisticated enough for the wine snobs, easy enough to batch for a crowd, and strong enough to get you through another rendition of your dad's favorite story that everyone's heard twelve times.

Make a pitcher. Survive the holidays. Thank us later.
